The Eagle Ridge Institute story is built on sturggle, passion and love for community.

ERI's birth, in 1989, came from a deep desire to address many unmet social problems in order to dramatically improve the conditions and opportunities for children, families and communities. It grew out of a desire to take our understanding that substance use and mental health are overriding and primary conditions related to many of the social problems we now face.

Our growth in the number and quality of programs would be impossible without the dedication of a talented and creative staff, board members, volunteers and community stakeholders.

The future of ERI is certainly challenging as we attempt to adapt to new health care systems and face significant funding cuts for prevention and treatment programs.

However, with a team of strong staff, friends, supporters and a strategic plan. we will continue to help people and communities soar.
